General Information on the Personal Data Protection Law
The Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (hereinafter referred to as KVKK) was adopted on March 24, 2016, and published in the Official Gazette dated April 7, 2016, with the number 29677. Some parts of the KVKK came into effect on the publication date, while others came into effect on October 7, 2016.
Information as Data Controller
In accordance with the KVKK No. 6698 and as the Data Controller, your personal data will be processed within the framework explained on this page; it may be recorded, stored, updated, disclosed/transferred to third parties when permitted by the legislation, classified, and processed in the ways specified in the KVKK.
How Your Personal Data May Be Processed
In accordance with the KVKK No. 6698, your personal data shared with our company may be processed, either in whole or in part, automatically or non-automatically, by being obtained, recorded, stored, modified, reorganized, and, in short, by being processed in any way that is subject to processing under the KVKK.
Purposes and Legal Bases for Processing Your Personal Data
The personal data you share are processed within the framework of the following purposes and legal bases:
To provide services to our customers in compliance with the requirements of the contract, technology, and the law, and to improve our offered products and services.
To record the identity, address, and other necessary information of the data subject in order to determine the information of the data subject in transactions carried out based on the Electronic Commerce Regulation Law No. 6563, Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, Electronic Commerce Service Providers and Intermediary Service Providers Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated August 26, 2015, No. 29457, Distance Contracts Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated November 27, 2014, No. 29188, and other relevant legislation.
To regulate all records and documents necessary for payment systems in the Banking and Electronic Payment field, which are compulsory, and to comply with information storage, reporting, and notification obligations stipulated by the legislation and other authorities.
To provide information to public prosecutors, courts, and relevant public officials in matters related to public security and legal disputes, upon request and in accordance with the legislation.
Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the KVKK No. 6698 and related secondary regulations.
Information about Third Parties or Organizations to Which Your Personal Data May Be Transferred
For the purposes mentioned above, your personal data may be transferred to individuals/organizations, including but not limited to foreign country visa departments, airline companies, accommodation companies, and other third parties, without prejudice to our company's organized fairs, as well as foreign language schools, universities, and other institutions.
